I like shiny objects...
My new Lithops. He was in pretty rough shape when I bought him; I guess the people working in the store thought you don’t have to water succulents. Also he was way over priced, but I’ve been looking for one of these guys for months so I had to buy him.

I really hope this cultivar is named after the bear. Saw this in the public gardens and though it was pretty funny.

A flower from one of the sweet potatoes (Ipomoea batatas, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_potato) in the green house. I thought this is cool because its the first time I’ve seen one flower, and according to wikipedia they rarely flower when they get more than 11 hours of light and we have them on a 16/8 hour day night cycle.

Some random pics from the green roof at my school, I think the first one is a Fava bean, and the rest are Stonecrop-two-row (Sedum spurium), Harebell (Campanula rotundifolia), Cranberry (Vaccinium oxycoccos), Silverrod (Solidago bicolor), Rose root (Rhodiola rosea), and Heal-all (Prunella vulgaris).

Rose root (Rhodiola rosea, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhodiola_rosea) that I grew from seed.

A cutting from a Crown-of-thorns (Euphorbia milii, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphorbia_milii) a friend gave me. It only took 3 tries, 4 months and some choice expletives to get it to root, but it finally did which is awesome.
